For journalists
Shieldr is a scam-verification app for iPhone. You share a suspicious text, email or voicemail to it, and it comes back with one of three verdicts — safe, suspicious, or scam — and a plain-language explanation of what gave it away. We're happy to talk about how it works, what we can and can't see, and what we're seeing circulate.
Happy to provide founder interviews, product demos, screenshots, and background on the design decisions — including the ones we get asked about most: why the app never stores message content, and why there's no free tier.
Partnerships
We work with organisations who are already the ones people forward these messages to — credit unions and community banks, senior centres and libraries, consumer-protection groups, local news consumer desks, and creators whose comment sections are full of "did anyone else get this?"
What that usually looks like: bulk or subsidised Family plans, co-branded scam-awareness material, an early look at what's trending in your region, or just a conversation about what your community keeps getting hit with.
Press kit
Logos, app icon, product screenshots, founder headshot and a one-page fact sheet. Being assembled now — email us in the meantime and we'll send assets over directly.
